First, let me admit that at the time of these trades
I had no argument against them, actually i was excited by them
However 2 years later and hindsight in full effect i have
To wonder what if, what if the brewers had never made the trades
For Zack Grienke and Shaun Marcum?
First i understand certain things may not have happened
Had we not signed those two. Obviously first on the list
Is the playoffs last year. The next are the signings of ramires and aioki.
However lets assume those two players were added
Going into next year we would have at 1b Corey Hart.
2b Rickie Weeks. SS alcides Escobar. 3B Aramis Ramires
RF Ryan Braun CF Lorenzo Cain LF Nori Aioki. Thats a pretty damn
Good line up, and defensivly is also impressive. Then look at the young starters,
Who btw we will be relying on heavily next year anyways.
Obviously Gallardo then estrada peralta fiers rogers narvison and
Hirum? Burgos? Dont think thats spelled correctly but i think perhaps
We would have been better off not making those trades.
However i cant fault, or blame the brewers for trying. Last year they came
Very close but our best pitchers failed us. Anyways now i leave it up to you!
What do you think looking back from now, and what did you think/ feel then?
