A place to discuss the first day of playoff action.
After playing a combined 648 regular season games, tonight four teams will see their postseason fate decided by a pair of nine inning contests.
First, in Atlanta, Kyle Lohse and the Cardinals will take on Kris Medlen and the Braves at 4. The winner of that game opens a series with the Nationals on Sunday.
Then in Arlington, Yu Darvish and the Rangers take on the Orioles at 7:30. The winner here will see the Yankees on Sunday.
Both games will be on TBS, with Brian Anderson calling the NL game. Feel free to use this thread to discuss these games specifically and the playoffs in general.
