We have 3 weeks left in the regular season!!! Amazing!!! So let's take a look at the playoff picture:

BCB 1: two divisions of haves and have nots. The nice part is that no one is mathematically eliminated yet. Even Tepo can make a run and get in. What sucks is that because of ESPN's mandatory divisional format, there will be a 2 seed that gets a bye that has a much worse record than the presumable 3, 4, and 5 seeds if things hold true as they are. For that 2nd seed, Leam has a 1 game lead over BrewCrewBrian and Myself. in the other division, Fiesta holds a 1 game lead over Cheezconqueso, Masondlo, and Olyknows for the top seed.

BCB 2: A little more even, with one juggernaut. Aaronetc/s Flood the Zone with Cheryl Tunt is clearly the class of the regular season. He's got a 2 game lead over everyone for the top seed. In the other division, Kfeyzi has a 1 game lead over TexWestern and myself.

BCB3: An Actual Race for the top Seed with both divisions participating!!! Yar Nivek has a 1 game lead over Zora's Burn in Harrell and BrewGuyTim's Spiking Montee's Ball. My Vanstain's are just a game out of the 2nd bye (every league!) behind BrewGuyTim. Everyone still has a shot at the playoffs as the 6th spot only has 4 wins currently held by Noah who was surging (I haven't looked at the scoreboard at this point).

So 3 weeks of the regular season left, and no one really eliminated. That'll make for a fun stretch run

This week, instead of doing the weekly players that sucked and surprised, I'm going to do the sucked and surprised of the whole year.

First, the disappointments:

QB- Cam Newton drafted 4th or 5th QB, current position ranking 12th: Cam's sophmore slump has doomed a lot of teams that grabbed him without grabbing a solid backup.

RB- Lesean McCoy 3rd, 11th

RB- Darren McFadden 4th, 23rd: These two guys underperformance has solidified the notion of running backs not being worth a first rounder unless you get one of the top 2

WR- Larry Fitzgerald 2nd, 24th

WR- Andre Johnson 8th, 34th: I didn't include Greg Jennings because he's been injured, and generally taken after these guys. But he's been extremely frustrating as well

TE- Aaron Hernandez 4th, 33rd or Jermichael Finley 5th, 28th: Hernandez has been injured, but has produced some good games when healthy. Finley has played all games, but has no produced as a safety valve or a big play threat against anyone, except the bears.

D/ST- Jets: They were generally accepted as a top 5 fantasy D. But then Revis got hurt, and it all went to sh*t. Pittsburgh also hasn't produced enough turnovers to bring them out of the bottom 10.

Now the Surprises:

QB: Carson Palmer was rarely drafted as a backup, coming into the year as the 18th ranked QB with people betting on younger options for backups. He's now put up the 8th highest point total for a QB.

RB: CJ Spiller was not on my draft radar. He was always hurt and ineffective with a powerful and healthful RB in front of him. He was ranked in the low 40s for position ranking. But he's blown up this year, and is now the 9th highest scoring RB in fantasy.

WR: Reggie Wayne was left for dead. A 33 year old with a rookie throwing to him is not a good combination. Now he's the 6th highest scoring WR in fantasy thanks to being able to get separation and an accurate rookie.

TE: Heath Miller was the guy you drafted if you missed out on the top 5 TEs, drafted a defense early, and just ignored the TE spot. He was preranked around 20-25 for tight ends. Now he's 4th.

D: The Tampa Bay D was on no one's radar at the begining of the season, and still aren't on some. But despite the lack of sacks, they have got 15 INTs and scored 4 TDs, good enough to be the 6th best fantasy D.

Team of the week: We have a Co-Team of the Week, as both Fiesta and BrewGuyTim scored 172 points this week!

Yar Nivek Award: JP tied for the third lowest score of the week with 84.5. Luckily for him, he played the guy with the 2nd lowest score of the week.

The Really?... But... Calvin Johnson... Award: BrewCrewBrian's Jerry Sandusky's Lil Giants scored 129, and lost.
