Maybe it's because he's better on D... Maybe it's because he is off to a pretty good start compared to what we expected... Maybe it's because he just doesn't have a Ballet swing...

But Alex Gonzales looks like a real big league hitter. Most people said at the plate he would be another Yuni but a huge upgrade defensively. He is obviously a big upgrade in the field but he feels like one at the plate.

I know this much power this early isn't typical for him but still he looks like a real hitter even if he might strike out or get out a lot. His swing looks strong and he doesn't just pop every damn ball up. (well yesterday he did but yea)... am I wrong here? Even though his career hitting numbers are not great his approach looks way better.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? Am I crazy? Is it just a better start than he will be able to maintain or am I just stupid?
