Taking your son to the park to hit a few balls for an hour. Telling him during the walk over that Ryan Braun hit three home runs the night before. Talking about when we're going to drive down to Milwaukee to watch a few this summer. Then falling into a rhythm... the crack of the bat... the whispering thunk as the ball hits the glove.... and losing track of time....

... checking your phone and realizing it's later than you thought. Telling your son that if he wants to play video games yet tonight like he said when you left, you have to leave now, and hearing in response:

"Let's keep doing this instead. This is fun."

Then talking about baseball the whole, long walk home while the sun goes down at your back.
