Brown is 28 and hit .317/.340/.465 in 100 games for Nashville last season. In 2012 he had appeared in eleven games for Campeche in the Mexican League. All signs point toward Brown filling a spot in Huntsville or Nashville when someone is called up to replace Mat Gamel, but nothing is official.
