Brewers 8, Reds 3: Tonight's Turning Points

1) Jonathan Lucroy's first inning two-RBI single: +.168 WPA (Video)

Jonathan Lucroy drove in the first two of eight two-out runs for the Brewers tonight with this single out of an 0-2 count to give the Brewers a rare early lead.

2) Aramis Ramirez's fourth inning three-run triple: +.094 WPA (Video)

The Brewers blew the game open on this play, as Ramirez tripled down the right field line and cleared the bases to give the Crew a 6-0 lead.

3) Ryan Braun's second inning RBI ground rule double: +.084 WPA (Video)

Braun's double actually featured a little bad luck: If it hadn't bounced over the wall it almost certainly would have scored two runs instead of just one.

4) Devin Mesoraco's fourth inning popout: +.075 WPA

Yovani Gallardo loaded the bases with two outs in the fourth, but was able to escape without any damage when Mesoraco popped out to Rickie Weeks to end the inning.

5) Jay Bruce's fourth inning popout: +.058 WPA

The Reds had men on first and second with no outs against Gallardo in the fourth but Jay Bruce popped out to Cesar Izturis for the inning's first out.

The next five:

6) Joey Votto's fourth inning double: -.057 WPA
7) Scott Rolen's fourth inning foul out: +.046 WPA
8) Brandon Phillips reached on an error in the fourth inning: -.043 WPA
9) Ryan Ludwick's fourth inning walk: -.035 WPA
10) Travis Ishikawa's first inning strikeout: -.034 WPA
