In tonight's loss to the Pirates, both Rickie Weeks and Travis Ishikawa had three strikeouts in the loss. It was the 34th and 35th times this season where a Brewer had a game where he struck out three times. At this point, that is tied for the 15th most in franchise history. The record for number of three strikeout games in a season is 55, set by the 2006 Brewers. Here is a list of the top 15:
| Year | Player Games with 3 Ks |
| 2006 | 55 |
| 2001 | 54 |
| 2004 | 54 |
| 2000 | 50 |
| 2007 | 49 |
| 2008 | 46 |
| 2003 | 46 |
| 2010 | 46 |
| 2005 | 45 |
| 2002 | 42 |
| 2009 | 42 |
| 1988 | 42 |
| 1986 | 41 |
| 1987 | 36 |
| 1996 | 35 |
| 2012 | 35 |
Here is a list of the top offenders in 2012:
| Player | Games with 3 Ks |
| Rickie Weeks | 8 |
| Corey Hart | 7 |
| Carlos Gomez | 5 |
| Ryan Braun | 5 |
| Cody Ransom | 4 |
| Travis Ishikawa | 3 |
| George Kottaras | 1 |
| Nyjer Morgan | 1 |
| Zack Greinke | 1 |
If the Brewers keep up their current pace, they will have 65 of these games in 2012, easily shattering the mark from 2006.
