Getting into a Groove

With a pitching staff like ours there's no guarantee that anyone put out on the mound will escape without giving up at least one run. Axford is supposed to be the closer, but he's been leaving the door open. Normally reliable guys, Rodriguez and Loe have faltered, and none of the other arms in the pen have stepped up to provide reliable relief. Even the starters have been hit and miss, with only Greinke and Fiers posting consecutive scoreless outings (although Greinke has been very solid overall, despite the occasional run surrendered).

Once again I was curious and decided to run the numbers, just to see what they would look like.
