It's been a 4-2 week for the Brewers and, for the first time in a long time, we have a list of BotW candidates that wouldn't have surprised you if I'd shown them to you in March.
Ryan Braun had ten hits in six games this week, including six for extra bases and three home runs. He hit .417/.462/.958 with a stolen base and was worth +.155 WPA.
Marco Estrada pitched six shutout innings and allowed just two hits against the Cubs on Tuesday, walking one and striking out nine. He was worth +.363 WPA this week.
Yovani Gallardo made two starts and pitched 14 innings this week, allowing a combined three runs on eight hits with 18 strikeouts. He was worth +.425 WPA this week.
Corey Hart had hits in all five of his appearances this week (including two multi-hit games) and each of his last eight overall. He hit .389/.421/.500 and was worth +.396 WPA.
Jonathan Lucroy had six hits over four starts this week, including a double and a pair of home runs. He hit .400/.471/.867 and was worth +.044 WPA.
Honorable mentions: Kameron Loe, Francisco Rodriguez and Jim Henderson
