We would need to go 16-6 to reach 86 wins. From today therefore we would need to go 23-8.

We finish the season with 3 v the Astros and 3 v the Padres at home. We take them all.

The Card would have to play under .500 ball. The Pirates are not going anywhere if we take all 5 remaining games, they will be on a steady downslide.

The Braves are in.

The Dodgers could improve and stay ahead of us. The Cards will probably play above .500.

So why not?
