Shaun Marcum wasn't terrible tonight, but his outing (5.2 innings, four runs on seven hits) certainly won't go on any highlight reels from the 2012 season. The longball was his nemesis tonight, as three of the four runs plated against him scored on Giancarlo Stanton and Gorkys Hernandez's home runs.

Marlins Park has been a pretty difficult place to hit home runs this season, ranking 14th out of 16 NL parks with 84 homers allowed before tonight. Marcum is only the tenth pitcher this season to allow two home runs in a game there, and just the second to do it without picking up the loss:

Player Date Team Opponent Decision
Shaun Marcum Tonight Brewers Marlins No Decision
Jacob Turner August 29 Marlins Nationals Loss
Ricky Nolasco July 25 Marlins Braves Loss
Jesse Chavez June 24 Blue Jays Marlins Loss
Ricky Romero June 22 Blue Jays Marlins Win
Anibal Sanchez June 10 Marlins Rays Loss
Jordan Zimmermann May 28 Nationals Marlins Loss
Tim Lincecum May 25 Giants Marlins Loss
Mark Buehrle April 30 Marlins Diamondbacks Loss
Matt Garza April 18 Cubs Marlins Loss
