This week's Brew Crew Ball Tracking Poll was open from Monday at noon through the day Tuesday as usual but the holiday may have impacted its traffic, as just 100 votes participated. Here are some notable results:
- Voters were asked if they'd like to give another shot in the rotation to Tyler Thornburg, Donovan Hand and Johnny Hellweg and voted in the affirmative in all three cases, giving them 94%, 84% and 65%, respectively.*
- Ron Roenicke and Johnny Narron saw significant drops in their approval ratings, going from 50 and 59% a week ago to 33 and 40% this week.
- All but the most optimistic Brewer fans have thrown in the towel on the 2013 season, with just 3% saying they still think the team has a realistic chance to make the playoffs.
* - It's worth noting, of course, that this data was collected before Hand's start Thursday and Hellweg's outing Friday.
