I got this idea from today's post-game thread. Many of us here on BCB don't live in Wisconsin, and are therefore reliant on seeing our team when they come through our town (or close to it). Name the stadium(s) you've seen the Crew play in as the road team, and any significant notes about the game(s).
Petco Park (numerous times)
Dodger Stadium (numerous times). Most memorable was the first-ever game the Brewers played there, having just moved to the NL. Brewers were up 2-0, but Doug Jones (I think) blew the save. Game went into the 12th or 13th, and Burnitz hit an RBI single, which held up. Plus I got a sweet pin commemorating the "historic" first visit. It currently rests in a shadow box, along with my County Stadium brick.
ATT Park (2 games): Prince put one in the water, and Sabathia dominated for the win.
Angel Stadium/Edison Field: 2004. Sheets threw a near-perfect game for 9 innings, but the game dragged on until the 17th, when the Brewers came away with a 1-0 win. Matt Kinney was the winning pitcher, if my fuzzy memory serves.
RFK Stadium (3 game weekend series): Brewers lost the series 1-2, but I saw Kevin Mensch hit a home run (you heard me), and the next day Braun hit one into the upper deck in left, right about where I was sitting the previous night.
Great American Ballpark: Brewers got smoked during the summer of 2004
HHH Metrodome: about 1998 or 1999. A Twins player lost a routine popup in the white of the roof in a Brewer's win. Tom Kelly (!!!) later called it the worst game he's ever seen, but I didn't have any complaints.
Royal Stadium, circa 1992. I remember very little about this game, but I did get a photo of BJ Surhoff by the dugout prior of the game.
