Its YoGa Day!
...and I've the good fortune to catch the phenom's debut tonight in person. But I'm trying to decide what can reasonably be expected from the kid. He's at home and facing a last place team, but that last place team features Barry Bonds.
I'm predicting a game score of around 54.
Something like this (if my math serves--i'm too lazy to redo it):
5IP, 4H, 2ER, 2BB, 5K

pitch count?
So that said, here's my prediction.
9ip 0h 2bb 3k, 94 pitches.
That's ridiculous
Just because I'm contrarian
Because it's his debut, if he gives up a home run to Bonds they'll all make a huge deal about how he's the 442nd pitcher (though there's nothing special about that I can find) ever to give up a home run to Barry, blah blah blah.
I think it's funny that baseball reference gives you a stats summary for every plate appearance where a hitter has hit a home run. They all are slugging 4.000! Imagine that!

Prediction
6 H
3 ER
1 BB
5 K
1 HR (Please, anyone but Bonds)
Why isn't anyone predicting his offense? He mashes!
1-2 (1B)
Prediction
3 runs
6 hits
2 walks
Apparently he didn't throw between starts because of the thin bullpen this weekend, so I think he'll be a little rusty.
Prediction
1 run
1 walk
8 ks
And 3 homers batting, Brewers win 21-1
