Thanks to BCB commenter "great198" for bringing this to my attention. Today through Friday the Brewers will be announcing the 2016 All-Fan Giveaways. The first announcement was for a "Vintage Bobblehead" in the 1980's uniform. What do you folks want to see this year? More t-shirts? Did you like the gnomes? Which player bobbleheads would you like to see? Also, you can and should check out great198's prediction list here.

Brewers claim RHP Junior Guerra

4

The Brewers announced they were awarded their claim on right handed reliever Junior Guerra today. He was formerly with the White Sox. To make room for him they have designated catcher Nevin Ashley for assignment. Reading into things here but his DFA likely means Martin Maldonado will return next year. Guerra has had a unique career to date. Busted for PEDs in 2008 he was out of baseball for 6 years signing with Chicago. He split the majority of the year between AA and AAA with some success before receiving a call-up in September to the major league club. He has a mid-90's fastball, a slider, and a splitter.
