Moss leaves game with ankle injury

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Pirates left fielder Brandon Moss left Sunday's game with the New York Mets after twisting his left ankle in a seventh-inning at-bat.
Moss grounded to first and twisted the ankle while breaking from the batter's box. He had to be helped off the field by team trainers. Moss was 0-for-3 at the plate before departing. Steve Pearce replaced Moss in the lineup playing right field while right fielder Jason Michaels moved to left.
