PrintWe've just resigned Brian Shouse. Despite Shouse's age and "veteran" status, he's still two seasons away from free agency, so this isn't a big surprise. The only unexpected thing here is that the deal happened so soon; usually these types of negotations are hammered out later on, after GMs have sweated through November and early December signing premium free agents such as Craig Counsell.
