Laynce Nix!
The extra Y is for Yowza!  Seven home runs in 68 at-bats.  An OPS of more than 1.2.

I know, small sample size.  Still.  If we get anything useful out of him, it'd be more than I'd expected.

"C'mon, boys, let's get 'em some RUNS!" --- Daron Sutton, pretty much every game of the 2005 season.

Wow look at
Laynce Nix's BA. Thats pretty darn good. Good too know that when we eventually get rid of our outfield crowd we have a possible solid OF waiting.

Should be interesting...
to see how long the D-Backs decide to hang on to Krynzel. Wow, was he ever bad last year.

Ode to spring.

I like the snow as much as anybody who likes snow. I even don't dread shoveling. Still, I find myself anxious for spring.

Why?

I can't wait to play hookey from work or school and make it to a game at Miller Park. I want to have the money I save now go to a goal other than just tuition and bills. I want to sit behind home plate and watch Brauny hit a monstrous homer.

And that, my friends, is all I want for Christmas - spring.
