BEFORE the road trip - the average OPPONENT had a winning PCT of .441

THE ROAD TRIP average was .560 (WOW)

ALL 109 remaining games .462

The Brewers just went through was the hardest part of the schedule. Was it a slump? perhaps but it was also the best clubs in the NL on the road.

Brewers play one more series against NYM,PHI,ATL,SD and DET - the rest are mostly against the NL Central! YUMM!!

does it freak anyone else out that

we seemingly can't beat the good teams? This will be the knock nationally on the Crew for the rest of the year. Who cares if we win 95+. They will say we can't beat the best of the East or West. That will be a great argument against us to hear all freakin summer.

"Experts"

The Brewers, and any team from the Comedy Central, would get this wrap. Kind of like the NL West was the year the Padres eked in, they still have that image of a doormat.

No matter, the best teams never win in the playoffs. I'm taking this in stride, I've only tried cutting myself three times. How Yostian of me.

Maybe, but....

Who cares what the 'experts' say? This is a young team and by the end of the season they'll have a lot more experience than they have right now. (About 40% more experience for Hardy, Weeks, and Fielder. 2000% more for Braun) Maybe if we had this stretch in September we'd hold our own.

But the bottom line is the easy schedule will hopefully propel us into the playoffs, and once the playoffs start, anyone could win it all. Just ask the Cardinals.

You can only play

You can only play what you are given. Good teams beat bad teams and Good teams play 500 against other good teams.

The Brewers will not have a chance to play the good teams until the playoffs - then with all their experience under their belt they will make the good teams make up excuses!!

The Brewers had bad breaks against good teams ON THE ROAD!!

let's wait to see what the Mets, Padres Phillies do later in the year against us.
