Braun Call-Up Prediction Game

I have no prizes to offer, but in light in particular of notsellingjeans' interesting breakdown of major league service time and its affect on future earning power (plus Michael Hunt's horrible mail-in-job column in today's paper), it seems appropriate to have a contest to pick the date our 3B of the future makes his first major league appearance.

Mark me down for June 8, 2007 @ Texas.  He'll be the DH.

June 4
So he can make his MLB debut at Miller Park before the AL road trip.

Gwynn is sent down to make room.

Braun will pinch-hit in the first game, and then be a replacement for Cousellino in the late innings of us blowing out the Cubs in the second or third game.  Then he'll be the DH for the next nine games, again with some switches over to 3B during the late innings of blowouts.

And then:
BA: He got a good jump on that ball.
BS: No doubt about it.
BA: Braun is real phenom.
BS: And why not?

And by then we're all drunk.

you forgot...
BA: The Brew Crew really have something here
BS: And watch him hit, he's seeing the ball incredibly well right now.
BA: Do you think Ned Yost was salivating thinking about getting this guy in the lineup?
BS: No doubt about it, still and all having Graffy and councell playing the defense they did was a good problem to have.
BA: They did an excellent job for Ned Yost.

And I'm hammered

That's not Bernie Brewer. It's Enrico Polazzo!

June 8th
It has to be.

Also ... I found out it's possible to be more excited about Braun.  Have you looked at his splits?  He murder lefties.

I mean, he really kills them and disposes the body afterward.

I've seen it
He piles them up next to his paperboy collection.

I'm going to say June 6th.  The Sounds have an off day, The Crew finishes off their National League schedule.  It's on.

That's not the Chirizo, It's Enrico Polazzo!

i think...
braun's call up with correlate with the trade of perhaps graffy to get a solid middle reliever. although, i highly doubt just graffy could get that. if the brewers though could replace dessens and/or spurling with a solid reliever (insert name) they really could be a complete team.
