wow, complete game one-hitter?

i think he could be key for the brewers down the stretch.

Wow...
Jackson beat Gallardo's game score.  Thats impressive.  As for the stretch run... I'm not sure if either have the stamina to help in September.
That's not the Chirizo, It's Enrico Polazzo!

stamina
well...jackson did just pitch 9 innings, and if (god forbid) someone went down i think he could pitch as a 5th starter or villaneuva-type innings. same with gallardo. i would think both will be called up when rosters expand to 40, if not earlier.

Good to see him back.  Just in time, because we could really use another outfielder.

Jackson should be looked at as a reliever or as trade bait.  He is easily our #8 starter, assuming he doesn't get passed by Inman or Jeffress.

More likely...
it will be Inman, the way he's pitching.

Zach Braddock
Continues to dominate in Brevard County.  This guy seems like he might be something special, although it is A ball.  But so far, a 1.51 ERA...39ks to 11 walks...pretty nice.  Could we have yet another good pitching prospect on our hands?

From Andy Behrens of Yahoo Sports
Milwaukee third base prospect Ryan Braun, who's been one of the most productive hitters in the high minors thus far (8 HR, 3 SB, .358/.426/.716), is reportedly dealing with slight wrist and groin injuries. Apparently, the injuries are nothing serious, but he has missed some time. If I had to guess at Braun's call-up date, I'd say no later than June 8, in time to DH at Texas, Detroit, and Minnesota during interleague play

incidentally
i hear that one of the columnists at the hardball times is writing about Braun tomorrow, too :).

That is Hilarious
Wrist and Groin injuries at the same time, when he gets the call up to Milwaukee someone better get this guy a date.
