Off topic.
TV observations:

Surprisingly, ESPN led off with hightlights of the Cubs/Brewers in the midnight CST edition of Sports Center.

And Neddy abused a metaphor badly in a post game interview:  "... seems like the ship is sinking.  But they're in it.  You know.  And they're... pushing the water out."

I'm sorry, Ned
But the correct term is "bailing" or, depending on your ship's anti-sinking technology, "pumping."

Who knows, at this rate maybe Ned will say the team is playing in memory of Tony Graffanino in a few weeks.

Interesting
because neither the 10:00 SC or baseball tonight did. they decided the yanks were more important, since they closed the gap to, ummmm what is it now, oh yea, a very tight 6 games
