W: Shawn Hill (1-0) L: Braden Looper (0-1) S: Heath Bell (1) HR: Eliezer Alfonzo 2 (6), Brian Giles (1) I probably should have seen this coming when I mentioned it in the Game Thread, but the worst team in the Cactus League ended the Brewers' six game winning streak. Braden Looper pitched four innings and allowed four runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks. He struck out two and allowed two home runs, including one of the two hit by Eliezer Alfonzo. Ryan Braun picked up an RBI in his only at bat before taking a ball off his thumb in the field and having to leave the game. X-rays were negative and Braun should be fine in a few days. The Brewers trailed for nearly all of the game, but rallied in the ninth to bring it back to 6-5 with a Zelous Wheeler double and RBI single from Chris Duffy. Logan Schafer struck out with Duffy on third to end the game.
