Minute Maid Park tips
Greetings from Brew Crew Ball! I've come for advice about attending a game at Minute Maid Park. My wife and I have tickets in Section 107 for next Wednesday's game. We've never been there before, so does anyone have any tips? My wife and I are staying at the Hyatt and walking to the game.
Any cool things to see in the stadium? And very importantly, what are some signature food items there? Coincidentally it is $1 hot dog night, so I guess I'll be having at least one of those.
(any other tips for downtown Houston would be appreciated too; we've got all day Thursday to do stuff downtown)
Of course I'll be cheering on the Brewers, but if the season trends hold up, we'll be swept by the Astros during this series.

Article on Pitch f/x
This is a good article on slate.com that talks about Gameday's new Pitch f/x recorders. The author talks about how this will lead to a ton of new areas for research for baseball statisticians such as those found on BCB. I thought it was interesting and that you might as well.
Another interesting note came at the bottom of the article. Apparently MLB is thinking of putting up cameras next year that will capture individual portions of the field and will try to numerically measure some fielding statistics. I'd imagine range and speed would be among the measurables.

Weeks sent to AAA
I think sending Weeks down is a good idea. But my real question is how will this affect his Super-2 arbitration status? I think I've read here that he would have been eligible this year. Will this reduce his service time enough that he won't be eligible anymore? If so, this could save the Brewers millions of dollars over the next few years.
Update [2007-8-1 12:59:42 by Jeff]: Joe Dillon was called up in his place.
