Born and raised near Sheboygan, WI, now living in western Lower Michigan, close enough to pick up many Brewers games over the air. Relevant anecdotes:

Once pinch-hit for Darryl Strawberry in a company-sponsored softball game, in the final inning of a tie game with the bases loaded. Took a walk-off hit-by-pitch to win the game, and the City Championship.

I was once hired by a personable megalomaniac to run his nuclear reactor operation, but resigned for the sake of my family. When I got home one day, there was a football team haplessly practicing on my lawn, with a note on the door from my now former boss:
"I know it's not the Dallas Cowboys, but it's a start. Hank"

Question: If you were to use one adjective to describe the Brewers' first half, it would be:
Answer: Colorless, green

Question: Who is the Brewers' top prospect?
Answer: Jonathan Lucroy - The best catching prospect in the system by virtue of the fact that he can actually catch. His hitting numbers at Brevard are very good on the face of it, but even better after accounting for Space Coast Stadium.

Question: Was it a hit?
Answer: No, but it's too late to fix the glaring mistake now, unless...hey, we could pretend Sarah Palin gave up the hit!

Question: Now that it's over, how will you remember the Brewers' season?
Answer: Mostly satisfying. If you'd told me 90 wins and a playoff berth at the beginning of the year, I'd have taken it, but the limp the finish took some of the sparkle off.

Question: It's Game 7 of the World Series. Grant Balfour toes the rubber, and Matt Stairs steps to the plate. What happens?
Answer: Drink!
