Welcome to my brand-new Milwaukee Brewers blog!
My name is Jeff, and as I'm a rabid Brew Crew fan, I figured it was about time to start an online community for people like myself.
I'll be posting my thoughts quite frequently about the team, the farm, the management, and anything else Brewers-related, but Brew Crew Ball isn't just an outlet for me to share my thoughts -- it's a place for you to share your thoughts as well. Every thread I post will have a "comments" section, where you can tell me how horribly, horribly wrong I am, or change the subject entirely.
Additionally, be sure to check out the "Diaries" section on the right-hand side of the page. A diary is essentially a "blog within a blog" where anyone can write an entry on something Brewers-related that you find interesting, or that you wish I would cover. Each diary has a comments section as well, so you can respond to what your fellow Brewers fans have to say.
There'll always be a lot going on here at Brew Crew Ball. Expect a thread every game day where Brewers fans can gather to chat before and during the game. Between now and Opening Day, I'm going to take a cue from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and write an extended post previewing the 2005 Brewers at each position, about once per day. And as part of the SportsBlogs family, I hope to have occasional roundtable discussions with other NL Central bloggers so that, when the Brewers win the division, I can rub it in.
Most of all, this site is going to be a community for Brewers fans, so tell me what you'd like to see! You can post suggestions in the comments section of this thread, or in a diary, or even drop me a line at jeff -at- jeffsackmann.com.
Go Brewers!
