Weekend Recap

The Milwaukee Brewers took 2 of 3 from the Houston Astros this weekend.

Friday: Brewers 7, Astros 4
Saturday: Astros 7, Brewers 5
Sunday: Brewers 4, Astros 2

On Friday, rookie J.J. Hardy took Roger Clemens deep in the second inning. Clemens only got 8 more outs after that before being removed from the game. Doug Davis got his very elusive 10th win.

On Saturday, rookie Corey Hart took Andy Pettitte deep, unfortunately it was Tomo Ohka who only lasted 3 innings, the Brewers put something together in the ninth when rookie Prince Fielder hit a pinch hit RBI single but fell short in the end 5-7.

On Sunday, rookie Rickie Weeks hit a two-run homer  to make the difference in a 4-2 victory. Rick Helling pitched 7 shutout innings to earn his second victory.

Monday is a day off for the Crew, they travel to Arizona for a three game set.

Way to go Brewers, great weekend!
