Saturday: Padres 6, Brewers 1
Sunday: Brewers 3, Padres 2
Monday: Brewers 6, Reds 1
Brewers ended up splitting with the Padres and went .500 on the homestand at 6-6.
On Saturday Obie cruised through three in his re-debut, but a leadoff walk in the 4th came around to score along with two others and another walk in the 5th came around to score. Obie was relieved by Santos in the 5th. Obie's line for the night was 4.1 IP, 6 Hs, 5 ERs, 3 BBs, 2 Ks. Not exactly what he was hoping for, I'm sure.
Sunday afternoon the Brewers won 3-2. Hall knocked in Jenkins and scored on Wes Helms pinch hit sac fly to give Doug Davis a 2-1 lead going into the 7th. Davis promptly gave it back on an 8th single by Mark Loretta to tie the game 2-2 and his 10th no decision in his last 14 starts. But in the bottom of the 9th, Wes Helms single, Corey Hart pinch ran, stole second was sacrificed over to third and squeezed in by Brady Clark to win the game.
Monday saw a gem pitched by Tomo Ohka allowing only 3 hits on 7 innings of work. Geoff Jenkins went 5-5 and JJ Hardy broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the eigth with a bases loaded single.
