The Crew just fell behind the Rockies 2-1 on a Todd Helton HR in the 4th, but that's minor compared to this:
Sheets threw 27 pitches in a two-inning stint with Class AAA Nashville in an exhibition game against San Francisco's Triple-A Fresno affiliate. He allowed a two-run homer but reported no physical discomfort as he continues his comeback from a torn muscle behind his pitching shoulder.
"I felt like my old self again," said Sheets, who will open the season on the disabled list and make at least two minor league rehabilitation starts before returning to the Brewers. "I was suprised I had that much pop with the low intensity and no adrenaline flowing. That's pretty good for me."
Uecker said a bit ago that Sheets touched 95 on the gun. I can't wait!
