It's ace on co-ace this afternoon, Brandon Webb against Doug Davis, who's coming back off of a very strong Opening Day start. Prince still hangin' down in the 7-hole, and Chad Moeller gets his first start today. As of now, Carlos Lee is hitting .455 with an OBP of .625. Can he be stopped? Not today, I should think. Here are the lineups:

Eric Byrnes - CF | JJ Hardy - SS |

Update [2006-4-8 17:0:19 by Jeff]: Five wins, no losses! Today, a nailbiter of a game, 5-4 on Carlos Lee's RBI single in the bottom of the 9th inning. Doug Davis had a shaky outing: four runs in five innings, but the bullpen picked him up. One scoreless from Helling, two from JDLR, one from Kolb, and the offense kept chipping away. Fielder was 3-for-4 with a HR, Carlos continues to look like an MVP in the making, and JJ Hardy is hitting the ball with authority. Perfect!
