Thanks to battlekow for the link in the game thread. The bad news keeps coming... Tomo Ohka has a "partial tear" of his right rotator cuff. And rotator cuff issues are never to be taken lightly. He goes to the 15-day DL. According to MLB.com, he'll be out for at least a month.
Doug Melvin says another pitcher will be called up, though for no particular purpose, since we've already got twelve of 'em. Ohka would've made his next start on Saturday, which means somebody will have to fill in unless both Ben Sheets and Dave Bush go on three days rest. The most likely option as I see it is a Ben Hendrickson start with fairly low expectations. It's also possible that Jared Fernandez--who started Monday in Nashville--would get the call.
