Corey Koskie was placed on the 15-day DL retroactive to July 6 with "post-concussion syndrome." For whatever reason, the Brewers called up Tony Gwynn Jr. from Nashville to take his place. Nice opportunity for "Little Tony," and maybe we'll get to see him play some of that top-flight defense between now and the 21st, when I really hope Koskie will be ready to come back.
This is not a good sign: first Hardy's return keeps being delayed, and now Koskie is out for several games. Those are the only two bona-fide "plus" defenders on the team. Bummer.
