Two teams. Both made somewhat desperate moves to shore up their bullpen. One has a 67 percent chance of making the playoffs; the other has a three percent chance. I don't like being on this side of a difference like that.
Of course, I'll still be rooting for the Cerveceros, even though four of the nine starters tonight weren't on the opening day roster:
- Brady Clark, CF
- Tony Graffanino, 2B
- Prince Fielder, 1B
- Kevin Mench, LF
- Geoff Jenkins, RF
- David Bell, 3B
- Bill Hall, SS
- Mike Rivera, C
- Doug Davis
All against Justin Germano, making his first Major League start of the year, after a season in Louisville that wouldn't let him crack the Nashville rotation.
