Returned to minor-league camp: RHP Yovani Gallardo, RHP Luther Hackman, 3B Ryan Braun, C Nestor Corredor
That certainly answers some questions. No real surprises, but I expected that Braun might stick it out in big-league camp a little longer. Same for Sarfate, but the extra option year seems necessary in his case.
Optioned to Triple-A Nashville: RHP Dennis Sarfate, OF Drew Anderson
Optioned to Double-A Huntsville: INF Hernan Iribarren
The spring roster now stands at 38 (18 pitchers, 4 catchers, 8 infielders, 8 outfielders).
