Same old same old for Mark Prior:
Mark Prior had to leave his extended spring start after two innings Thursday because of shoulder soreness and is scheduled to see Dr. Lewis Yocum.
This doesn't matter as much to the Cubs as it has in years past, but given the way Wade Miller has been pitching, they could certainly use some reinforcements in the rotation. It's too early to count Prior out entirely, but between this and his underwhelming performance this spring, the Cubs can't reasonably expect to get anything out of him this year.
