Game Thread #24: Well Then.

So, yesterday wasn't Dave Bush's night.  The Astros offense was due...either that or they exploded for an entire weekend's worth of offense in one game.  That's my theory, which suggests they'll be entirely punchless against Claudio Vargas this afternoon.

Continuing my tour through the many wonders of the new baseball-reference.com, check out this page, with every batter's stats against Woody Williams.  Counsell has a .535 OPS against him in 51 plate appearances, while Jeff Cirillo has a much more impressive 1.062.  It's an indication of Williams's longevity that many of the players on that list are a few years into retirement.

While you wait for the game to start, you can play the lineup game.  Go Brewers!
