They Keep Previewing Us

It's Metsblog's turn: here's another Q&A with me:

The Brewers have won nine out of 10 including the last six games. If you could point to one aspect of the ballclub paramount to their recent success, what would it be?

The starting pitching hasn't gotten the attention that the bats (Prince and JJ Hardy) and the bullpen (Cordero and Turnbow) have received, but they've been just as good. The Brewers have given up 20 runs in the last 11 games, and much of that is due to impressive contributions from unexpected sources, such as Claudio Vargas. The Cardinals, Pirates, and Nats helped, but you can only write off so much of the accomplishment to punchless opponents.

I answered other questions, too!
