A 2-5 record sucks, but it's reassuring to see that we're still 3rd in the BP Hit List. Not only that, but the pack is falling away from us: the Cubs are down to 8th and there isn't another NL Central team until the Astros at #15.
The one slight concern raised by the Hit List is the presence of the Dodgers, Braves, and Padres at 5, 6, and 7: we knew those teams were good, but I guess I figured that at least one of them wasn't for real. It seems all the more important to take two of three from the Twins since they're the only somewhat easy team we'll see for quite some time. Oh, for the good old days when the Nats followed the Pirates into Miller Park.
