Sorry for the light posting these last few days. I'm on the road. My sister just graduated from law school in Illinois, and now that my family is heading back to points west, I'm sticking around to see some baseball.
I didn't realize I could do this until just now, but I think I'm going to drive up to Appleton early tomorrow and catch as much as I can of the NCAA Division 3 Baseball Championships. It's like the college world series, only with teams you've never heard of--unless you're a Wisconsinite, in which case Carthage College and UW-Stevens Point are probably familiar. Anyway, I'm going to watch as much as I can of the games tomorrow (starting at noon, I think), and will probably stick around for the championship game Tuesday afternoon. If you're in the area and want to meet up, you'll probably have to come to the game and find me...but you'll have a much better chance of that if you e-mail me first :).
Then...as battlekow mentioned a couple of days ago, I'm going to the Brewers game on Tuesday night. He and I are going to meet up at some point before the game, and any and all of you are welcome to join us as well. Again, it'll be easier to coordinate if you email me...but since I'll be coming down from Appleton, we're probably just looking at meeting around 6:30 and buying tix for whoever is there.
Finally, I think I'm going to aim for the Wednesday afternoon Brewers game, then if it doesn't go 16 innings or something, I'll head over to Beloit for the night game there. If anybody wants to catch up with me there, that'd be great too.
By the way, I feel for all y'all who have to buy gas all the time. I'm not excited at all about paying $3.50 a gallon for all of this.
