Clearly what the Brewers need right now is to switch things up. Battlekow and I will be there tonight, which hasn't been the case for the last 16 games. If the Brewers win tonight and tomorrow afternoon (when I'll be there again) I fully expect the club to offer me some sort of deal to travel with the team until the winning streak is over. (All expenses paid, of course.)
In other news, I watched the finals of the NCAA D3 championships in Appleton this afternoon. College baseball (especially at that level) is an acquired taste, and certainly not anywhere close to even A-ball, but it was a great time. If you ever get a chance to see a college tournament (even a regional, which you should be able to find in Wisconsin every year), I highly recommend it.
Back to the matter at hand: tonight is a battle of aces, between John Smoltz and the hopefully healthy Ben Sheets. I don't make it to many games at Miller Park, so this better be a good one!
Go Brewers!
