It's an early game thread today, because I'm about to hop on a bus and head to DC to watch the game tonight. It'll be my first (and probably last) time to RFK, which marks my 38th major league stadium, and 20th (I think) of the 30 current parks.
More importantly for the Crew than my attendance, the matchup is Jason Simontacchi and Jeff Suppan. Simontacchi, you may recall, made his first start in years against the Brewers back in May, and lost. Given how we often do against unfamiliar pitchers, if we could score four runs last time, I like our chances tonight. Suppan has only had one quality start in his last seven tries, but then again he hasn't lost in his last four outings.
