Game Thread #29: Brewers (16-12) at Reds (14-13)

On May 7, the 2008 Brewers were 16-17. No matter what the Brewers do today, they'll finish the day better than that, and they've also clinched their second winning road trip of the season, with three wins against the Pirates and Reds. The 2008 Brewers didn't win their second multi-city road trip until July 18-24.

Braden Looper takes the mound tonight for the Brewers. He's 2-1 with a 3.10 ERA so far this season, and beat the Reds for his first Brewer win on April 15. The Brewers are 4-1 in his starts this season.

For the Reds, Micah Owings gets the start. He's making his fifth start and has factored in the decision in each of them, going 1-3. He started opposite Looper and took the loss on April 15. Mike Cameron took Owings deep twice in that game. Owings, though, won his only start at home this season.

Bill Hall is back in the lineup today, via the JS:

2B Rickie Weeks
RF Corey Hart
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
CF Mike Cameron
SS JJ Hardy
3B Bill Hall
C Jason Kendall
RHP Braden Looper
