Fresh off another winning road trip, the Brewers return home for a key three game series with the Cubs.
For the Cubs, it's the first career start for Randy Wells, starting in place of recently DL'ed Carlos Zambrano. Wells has made four major league appearances, all last season, and pitched 5.1 scoreless innings for the Blue Jays and Cubs. Two of those four appearances came against the Brewers on back to back days in September, where Wells held the Crew hitless.
Dave Bush makes the start tonight for the Brewers. Bush is 1-0 with a 4.36 ERA so far this season. He's a much better pitcher at home over his career, posting a 3.86 ERA in 74 games.
Also, since this is game one of a series with the Cubs, I feel semi-obligated to remind any potential visitors that trolling is not tolerated in this space. For details, visit the Game Thread Guidelines and Omnibus Posting Guide.
