Well, that was interesting. Did anyone catch SportsCenter's list yesterday of the top moments in baseball this year? It not only featured a huge inning and an amazing comeback from the Indians, but also Prince Fielder getting robbed of a grand slam. How's that for karma?

As for today, Ken Macha's taken advantage of the DH to get both Bill Hall and Mat Gamel in the lineup against lefty Jeremy Sowers. Guess which one is hitting second? Let the jokes about whether Gallardo should be hitting for himself commence:

2B Casey McGehee
3B Bill Hall
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
RF Corey Hart
CF Mike Cameron
DH Mat Gamel
SS J.J. Hardy
C Jason Kendall

Bullpen rest situation:

  • Carlos Villanueva pitched an inning (13 pitches) on Saturday.
  • Mark DiFelice pitched an inning (13 pitches) yesterday.
  • Mitch Stetter got two outs yesterday (9 pitches).
  • Seth McClung pitched two innings (31 pitches) on Sunday.
  • Todd Coffey pitched 1.1 innings (13 pitches) yesterday and two on Saturday (32 pitches).
  • Chris Smith pitched 3.1 innings (58 pitches) on Saturday.
  • Chris Narveson sucks and pitched 1.2 innings (48 pitches) yesterday.
  • Trevor Hoffman has pitched the last three days (54 pitches total).
