Hey look, it's the Cubs again!

Follow the jump for tonight's pitching matchup and conversation on tonight's game!

Tom Gorzelanny (5-2, 5.29) is making just his fifth start as a Cub, and his first since August 20. In his last three starts before being removed from the rotation, he lasted 1.1 innings once and five innings twice, so it's probably a safe bet that he won't last late into tonight's game. Several Brewers have a lot of experience against him: Ryan Braun (.471/.591/1.059) and J.J. Hardy (.381/.458/.571) hit him well, and Prince Fielder (.250/.280/.292) and Mike Cameron (.250/.435/.250) do not.

Meanwhile, Braden Looper (13-6, 4.89) gets another shot at history. Looper has allowed 35 home runs, one shy of Wayne Franklin's single season franchise record. After putting together several good starts in a row, he's backslid a bit over his last two, posting a 6.75 ERA in 10.2 innings, but picked up the win in both games. Looper is facing the Cubs for the fourth time this season, and is 2-0 with a 4.50 ERA in his previous three starts against them. Derrek Lee, Aramis Ramirez, Kosuke Fukudome and Geovany Soto have all taken Looper deep once in their careers. Milton Bradley has done it twice, but we won't be seeing him anytime soon.

I'm at the game tonight so I don't have a lineup for you, but here's the bullpen situation:

Carlos Villanueva pitched one inning (25 pitches) yesterday.Chris Smith pitched two innings (19 pitches) yesterday.Mike Burns pitched one inning (18 pitches) yesterday.
David Weathers
pitched one inning (11 pitches) on Saturday.
Todd Coffey
pitched one inning (12 pitches) on Saturday.
Trevor Hoffman has not pitched since Friday.Claudio Vargas has not pitched since Thursday.
Mitch Stetter
has not pitched since Wednesday.
John Axford
has not pitched since Tuesday.
Josh Butler is still around, but hasn't pitched..
Seth McClung was recently activated from the DL and could pitch today.

Enjoy the game! And if you're there, I'm with Mrs. Snow and our dads sitting in section 204, row 3, seats 13-16. First person to stop by gets a free handshake!
