Sadly, Milwaukee's season draws to a close as this is the Brewers last series of the year. Yes, after playing 159 games already, there are just three left.
These three games aren't going to be completely pointless, though. The Brewers are only one game ahead of the Houston Astros, one game behind the Mets and two games behind the LA Angels and Oakland A's in the race for 2011 draft positioning (or for third place in the Central, against the 'stros).
For the Reds, they could catch the Giants and be the second best team in the National League.
Enjoy the Brewers while you still have them. It's going to be a long, baseball-less Winter, otherwise.
