Hey, you! Yeah, you!
No, over here! This way! Look at me!! Psst...I've got something I know you want, hell, I know you need. Yeah, don't worry, I know your secret. I won't tell, promise. I just want you to look at my...merchandise. Look, it's good stuff so it's gonna cost you a pretty penny. But I'll tell you what, I like your face. I'm going to go ahead and give you and offer of half off. Sound good? Yeah, I thought so. So come on, go ahead and get your fix of a CBSsports.com Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League for only $90. That's less than $10 each for a 12 person league. It's the best stuff around, so you know you're getting your moneys worth. The seasons going to start soon, so you had better hurry.
If you want actual Brew Crew Ball fantasy news, then jump.
Haha, you actually did it. I now have full control over your mind. You will draft Jason Kendall in the first round. Heh heh heh.
Anyways the reason you are here is because I have a mandated amount of posts I am supposed to put up each week because of this super-duper deal SBNation has where we get a free CBSsports.com Commissioner League. But this week, there isn't a whole lot to talk about because most everything is set.
Rendezvous and Hyatt, you both still need to enter team names on the CBS league unless you want to be known forever as Team8 and Team9, respectively. Then we will all shun you for having crappy team names.
After our last update, it seems that most people are in favor of a 90 second drafting time for each pick, so I'm going to change it to that. Everything else still stands as is.
Draft times are still set for Sunday the 28th at 6:00 PM for the CBSsports.com league and Wednesday the 31st at 6:30 PM for the Yahoo! league. Those times are central, so if you live elsewhere, adjust accordingly. If it doesn't automatically, I'll send an email to everyone the day before the draft as a reminder so you don't forget. I'd like to get as many people to draft live as possible. If you can't, be sure to do player rankings so you at least have some say in who you draft.
Since there isn't really anything to ask preferences about, go ahead and talk strategy or something. I for one plan on loading up my team with a bunch of utility bench players like Craig Counsell and David Eckstein.
Feel free to steal my strategy.
