Charles A. "Charlie" Morton (0-2, 13.50 in 2010, 5-9, 4.55 last season) has been knocked around a lot so far in 2010, posting a 1.929 WHIP, 16.4 H/9 and 3.9 HR/9 in his first two starts (9.1 innings, both losses). On Wednesday, he allowed six runs on eight hits in six innings to the Giants. Don't wait around for a walk, though: Just one of his 18 baserunners allowed in 2010 has come via free pass. No Brewer has faced him more than seven times: Rickie Weeks is 0-for-6 with a sac fly.

Dave Bush (0-0, 3.86 in 2010, 5-9, 6.38 last season) is coming off a strong outing against the Cubs on Wednesday, where he allowed two earned runs on seven hits in six innings, and needed just 77 pitches to do so. Bush has allowed a home run in each of his two starts, but has allowed just two walks in his first 11.2 IP. He only faced the Pirates once last season, and allowed five runs (four earned) on his hits in five innings. Four Pirates have faced him at least ten times:

Player PA AVG OBP SLG OPS
Ryan Doumit 19 .053 .053 .053 .105

Andy LaRoche 11 .250 .455 .375 .830
