It took two tries, but finally the Brewers are in the win column.

They got off to a nice start tonight, scoring three runs in the first on a home run by Casey McGehee, who went 2-for-3 with a walk on the night. Rickie Weeks also homered in the game and was on base three times, drawing two walks. Prince Fielder was on base four times, picking up two hits and two walks, and drove home an insurance run in the eighth.

Randy Wolf was just good enough to win tonight, allowing four runs on nine hits with no walks and eight strikeouts in 6.2 innings. The Brewer bullpen did a great job behind him, with Mitch Stetter getting Todd Helton to pop out to end a threat in the seventh, LaTroy Hawkins pitching a perfect eighth, and Trevor Hoffman allowing a run in the ninth but still recording his 592nd career save.

For the second straight day, Gregg Zaun was held hitless. He's now 0-for-8 in 2010. Alcides Escobar drove in a run with a single in the eighth, picking up his first hit this season.
